Description: Sometime around 1938, Eisenberg began using Fallon & Kappel of New York as their new supplier. Due to the onset of WWII rhinestones and findings were starting to be in short supply and Eisenberg needed a bigger production company. Perhaps with the closer proximity to the costume jewelry capitol of the world, Providence, Rhode Island, the supply chain was guaranteed. Eisenberg continued their arrangement with Fallon & Kappel from 1943 to 1972. You can reference more info on this subject on the CJCI website ( Costumejewelrycollectors.com). This combined set is attributed to Fallon & Kappel from the 1930's thru the begging of WWII (around 1941). One of the pieces (the larger brooch) is set in sterling silver (38 grams). The other 5 pieces are not as they were made prior to WWII. They are all adorned with red & green molded glass and each one is in perfect condition. Only one is set in a gold-tone setting. The others are in a silver tone setting. The pin mechanisms and clips on each one is in good working condition. None are signed but they are all attributed to Fallon & Kappel for Eisenberg. This is a fabulous set for the serious Eisenberg collector. It took me many, many years to acquire all these pieces. They are fabulous pieces and most likely extremely rare, especially as offered as a collection. All but one is in great condition with no chips or flea bites. The round pin has a very minor flea bite (see last 2 pictures) which cannot even be seen with the naked eye, only with a jeweler's loupe. There have been no modifications to any of these pieces. I have had each piece scrutinized by my jeweler who has stated unequivocally there have been no modifications to any of these pieces. The only flaw he could find was a very minor flea bite to one of the green stones in the round pin. Please bid on these items knowing they are vintage from the 1930's-1940's and therefore may not be perfect but still quality pieces of jewelry.
