Previously named the Memphis Auditorium, it was named Ellis Auditorium in 1930. It was a multi-purpose facility, hosting concerts, sporting events and conventions. It was demolished in 1999 and replaced with the Cannon Center. Postcard published 1932 by Curt Teich.
