Description: Presented is a fine old European silver serving tray. This piece dates to the late 1700s or early 1800s, and is certainly of Italian make. The tray is done in a simple oval form, with a twist edge and handles. The actual serving surface of the tray is polished to a bright shine, ready for use. The tray is in great overall condition. There are a few dings here and there, but nothing of any consequence in our opinion. One of the handles is more elevated than the other, please see photos. There are no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The tray has Italian hallmarks. We have photographed these hallmarks on the handles, where they are clearest, but they also appear on the rim and on the back of the tray. We guarantee the tray to be at least 800 purity silver.
