This example with some spotting to the top edge of the boards, bubbling to the cloth along the gutters and a small abrasion and some writing on the front fly. Boards are still straight, lettering is bright, binding is square and tight, and internally the block is clean. The dust jacket has light soiling and edge wear but as can be seen in the photographs it is rather superb. A most attractive example of this work which is almost unheard of as an American first with the original dust jacket, and much less in one this bright.
