Description: I'm just going to give you the details you don't already know about Les Paul Customs, OK? Here is what is relevant just to this guitar. I. THE TOP This one got a crazy, quilted, "modern art" kind of figuring in its maple top. It's definitely owns whatever space it is in, and I have loved seeing it hanging in my living room. Ii. CONDITION Nothing bad to report. Scratches, nicks, and dents consistent with 30 years of light playing. See pictures. I would say 8.5 out of 10. III. TONE I have played hundreds of Les Paul's. This is a very classic representation. It has a Bare Knuckle Mule in the bridge, so it's got a warmer, fatter tones. Perfect for blues, jazz and classic rock. For "grinder tones," I would put in a higher gain pickup. IV. ORIGINALITY All original but for Bare Knuckle PAF style pickups, which are worth more than the 490 498T pickups they replaced. Comes with 90's Brown/Pink Gibson case.
