Description: This stunning piece of collectible cast-iron was restored in the following manner. I start by doing 36 hours to 48 hours of electrolysis on the piece of cast-iron. I use a cleaning process that includes a light vinegar and scrubbing with Brillo pads until it’s perfect. The skillet is done, lightly coated and wiped with canola oil and seasoned at 400° for 45 minutes. The process is then repeated as the pan cools additional oil is added, and it seasoned a final time. Please note that it does spin, this is a really nice piece of vintage cast-iron. This is truly an excellent piece of cast-iron for your collection or to use over the campfire.
