GREEN ACRES TV Series script

Description: This is a first-generation COPY of a 1969 script from the GREEN ACRES TV series (not a transcript or Photoshop recreation). The original was used by guest actor Allan Melvin (The Brady Bunch, Gomer Pyle, All in the Family, and Magilla Gorilla). A copy is being offered here. The 40-page script is from the episode titled “The Cow Killer”. The story: Mr. Haney (Pat Buttram) delivers an old truck instead of the modern one Oliver (Eddie Albert) purchased. He gives the con man until 6pm to return his $200 down payment or face jail time for fraud and possible larceny. Oliver also has trouble with Irene, Horace Colby's cow, who destroys Oliver’s crops. He attempts to scare Irene away by firing a shotgun into the air but scare advertising men instead. As they speed away, a life-sized fiberglass cow flies off their roof. Lisa (Eva Gabor) and Eb (Tom Lester) find it and assume Oliver is a cold-blooded "cow shooster." Haney realizes it's a phony and uses it to his financial advantage by selling and reselling it a few times. The script's cover has been reproduced in color and an acetate sheet has been added to keep it looking pristine (to be honest, it looks better than the original). The script pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off or frame.
