A new blade will ensure clean cuts and prevent damage. Place the cut decal into a container of lukewarm water using tweezers. Soak for about 20 seconds or until the decal loosens from the backing paper. If it doesn’t release easily, use slightly warmer water. Gently slide the decal off the backing paper onto the model surface. Use a soft paintbrush or cotton swab to position the decal and smooth out wrinkles or bubbles. Work carefully to avoid tearing the decal. Apply GSW Decal Fixer to the surface before placing the decal. This prevents silvering and protects the paint beneath.
