Description: Historical Dark Blue Staffordshire Large Teapot and matching cup Transfer printed with two spotted dogs, ca.1825. Beautiful Flower and Leaf transfer with two spotted dogs.This pattern was made by English Potters James Clews (1814-1834) & Ralph Stevenson & Son (1810-1835). The two dogs look like spaniels. Teapot measures 12 inches long, 8.25 inches high and 5.5 inches wide. Condition Teapot: Presents with old (and charming) “make do” wood and hand painted ceramic repair/replacement to knob on cover.Else, EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
