Description: HO Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 Steam Engine. upgraded with a new 5 pole motor. runs verry smooth foreward and reverse. left the old motor in it for added weight to pull more cars. Retrofitted bachmann steam engine smoke box smoke output is very good. However, your results may vary based on your track voltage and smoke fluid choice. will be shipped without fluid. i have gone through and lubed it up after running it during christmas, but buyer may want to do their own preferred maintenance. origional light works, but dim unless running higher speeds/higher voltage. this is DC only. tender has been converted to Kadee Whisker's coupler. locomotive is in good condition for its age. However, it may need some additional tuning for your own personal preferences, but it runs good as is on my test track. please see additional photos as they are part of the description. locomotive is being sold as is, no warranty. no box, but it will be packaged well. shipping to lower 48 United States only.
