Description: LEVIS VINTAGE CLOTHING (LVC) CONE MILLS RED LINE SELVEDGE JEANS From the original creator of the denim jeans. These 501xx 1933 version were considered as “The 5 Pocket work pants of the Great Depression”. These are an early production from 1996 (i think) made from the Cone Mills red selvedge raw (shrink to fit) denim in the USA. Cone Mills have since closed permanently. Present LVC are now Khihara Japanese denim and made in Bulgaria or Japan for Ltd Ed. Worn from raw, they are starting to develop a natural patina with great contrasts of rich indigo and fades. These have had one cool wash from raw. I won’t rant on about the details as sure you have knowledge of all the OG features. As you can see they have the suspended buttons, cinch back and riveted back pockets.
