Part # DP-1000HT Reviews Very Nice upgrade Rated by Bryan on January 28, 2022 Summary: Pay close attention to the directions, and the location of the ferrule on the braided cable before you cut it. Putting the ferrule onto the cable after it has been cut and the braids are coming apart is near impossible. This happened to me but we managed to constrain the braids back down with electrical tape and slide the ferrule on. Also on a stock 440 intake you will need a little bit of height on the carb depending on the type of carb. The heat insulating gasket from Edlebrock gave my 1404 just enough clearance to move freely. Overall its a great cable, just like anything be sure you read the directions once before you do anything. Yes, I recommend this product.
