Description: Inventory #15-AQ Gorgeous antique 19th Century original chromolithograph is an actual plate from the renowned and very scarce - Cassell's Illustrated Book of The Dog which was printed in 1881. The litho has brilliant colors and is in very good condition. There are a few faint smudges on the outer border. The bottom outside edge of the lower border is slightly bumped but this would be covered when framing. The lithograph is on a thick quality paper stock. The litho is titled: " POMERANIAN DOG " CHARLEY " THE PROPERTY OF MR. JAMES FAWDRY MALTESE " HUGH" THE PROPERTY OF LADY GIFFARD, and measures 8 1/4" x 10 3/4".
