Description: Up for sale is a Marklin HO 28573 Royal Wurttemberg Railroad 150 Years Anniversary Train Set, for Digital/Analog Operation in mint condition. The first of this early type of wood burning locomotives were built in 1847 in the Kingdom of Wurttemberg in Esslingen and produced 250 hp reaching a top speed of 25 miles/hour. This historic legendary and very limited trainset was produced by Marklin to celebrate 150 Years of the Royal Württemberg Railroad Administration. It was quickly sold out. Very rare and highly valuable for serious Marklin Train Collections! The condition of this train set is Mint! The Locomotive and trailers show no signs of use and look mint! I did run them on my analog and digital train set for test purpose only for a very short distance and it performed well in all modes including light functions. The dip switches are set to all zeros for analog operation (see picture). When I carefully inspected the locomotive, I lubricated the engine, transmission and wheel axles. It's ready to go.The original box is included. The instruction manual is included. Please see my high-quality photos for a detailed display of this trainset. This set is not easy to sell for me because I dearly like it. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.Thank you for watching.
