Description: This is a vintage cast metal piece that has been colored a golden color. Has some green patina coming through as can be seen in photos. Unsure what kind of base metal was used. I believe these were produced in the late 40s and 50s and mostly used to hold sheet music on or near pianos. Can also be used to hold magazines, books or could be used to organize a desk. Measures at its largest points 11" high, 8" wide and 5.5" deep. The span that actually holds the items would be approximately 7.5" across, 2.75" deep and bows out at different heights on the top. I find no chips or gouges to finish, not cracks noted. weights 2 lbs. 7 ounces. Art Nouveau style. Neat old piece. Pepsi can for reference.
