Description: Mid-Century Modern Sterling BRUTALIST Modernist Adjustible Size 6-1/2 Ring Click images to enlarge Description MID-CENTURY MODERN BRUTALIST RING Striking and unusual vintage mid-century modern hand made sterling silver Brutalist style ring measuring size 6-1/2" with an adjustable back - weight is 14.6 grams. Featuring a stylized bezel mount cabochon green stone flanked by an open frame as shown, ring sides are thick and covered in a raised "nugget" random design - back is open as shown - this is original to the ring and has not been altered. Unmarked as to maker, I believe this dates to the 1950s - it has a wonderful, modernist design and wears very comfortably. Condition is lovely with no damage - I do not know if the stone is synthetic or natural - it has a very faint line within the stone that is natural - the closest match I can find is Mtorolite or possibly Adventurine. Just a wonderful ring - striking and interesting design - reminds me of a Danish, Scandinavian or Finnish style. Lovely addition to any collection! If questions, please contact me - thanks!
