She was a member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, where she was recipient of many accolades , including the Grumbacher Award. Along with her son Bruce co-founded AFA Press, an art printer and publisher in Michigan. Her art was sold nationally by that company. Angelina Wood's paintings are in collections including the Franklin Public Library, Boston Children's Hospital, and numerous other health care facilities.
