According to the printed description below the photograph, Brown fell asleep while fishing in Round Pond and was blown out into Lake Ontario on 12 April 1909 and ended up in Grafton, Canada. Photographer: Smith’s Parisian Studio, 40 State Street, Rochester, New York Date: 1909 Size: 5 1/2 x 3 3/8 inches (photograph) 7 11/16 x 5 1/4 inches (mount) History: Round Pond is located at Greece, New York. I am not sure where the actual photograph was taken, but probably on the shore of Round Pond. Condition: Photograph has some surface chipping, edge wear, discoloration, and the typical silvering.
