Description: Old Paris Hand Painted Gothic Arches & Grapes Blue & Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer Antique Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain coffee cup and saucer. Hand painted with a green and gold grape vine band above gothic arch tracery over a blue background. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked. Circa 1820. Has a lot of wear to the gilding. The cup has a chip the the bottom of the handle. The saucer has a large chip to the edge. The cup measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 3 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
