I own and have used many of these in the past and they are a good reliable engine.This one looks to be in great condition, hard to tell if it was used or not. It looks like it was installed from the marks on it. It looks like to me it was used, but very little. I personally have not seen a used engine this clean. Has great compression.Look at pictures, pictures are the exact engine you are buying.
