Description: Pair of antique 19th century Old Paris French porcelain covered compotes, handled, beautiful pink color, with hand painted flowers, gold flourishes and trim, bisque putti playing flute on the lid, with birds on the lion paw tripod base, measuring 10-1/2" high overall including putti finial, 7-1/2" up to top of the rim, the base 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 4-1/2", and 7-1/2" wide across the handles, condition: AS IS, the putto on the lid with the orange flower has a broken neck that has been reglued, the compote part has an eagle/bird missing, missing a wing, another is missing half a wing; the other compote has restoration on the tripod base, also the neck of one eagle has restoration, some rubs to the pink, there are old stress cracks overall, sold as is, as found, from a local estate.
