Description: You are buying a new/sealed Surfer Rosa by Pixies. Numbered 4260 (total number unknown since it was a time based contract) by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab and released in 2009 (before the recent DSD controversy, so all analog from the original master tapes). I don't see any creases however there the seam is split as was common with this release. I have owned it since the original release date and over the years noticed many people complain over this issue. It seems the machine that trimmed the vinyl made too sharp an edge. Other than that obvious defect it looks very nice, the small tear in the plastic has minimal wear to the spine as shown. I want to be as transparent as possible since this is a valuable record and certainly the best version of an all time classic. Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve to help prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Considering the high price this goes for I will make extra sure it is packaged securely and you may have to sign for delivery (this prevents porch theft and dropped/stepped on packages). Thanks for looking.
