Description: This is a Superior dress form, one of the last good dress form manufacturers left in the US. This dress form is made the traditional way with papier mache, cotton wadding and covered with French linen. This dress form is totally pinable, not plastic garbage like the PGM things that have flooded the market in recent years. The base is all cast iron and heavy, not cheap lightweight metal.There is some wear on the linen, some water marks and, sorry my name on it (hey I used it for work, it’s been in many film studios with me). This form is what they class as a “Young Men’s” 40. It is on the slender side. He measure 38” CHEST 32” WAIST and 39” HIP. It is a fabulous dress form, although the stand is now starting to act up and not stay up all the time, which does happens with dress forms over the years. BUT, that should not be a game changer, it is a quality form and worth the price. And if need be, I use a small clamp to help keep the torso up if I have to.
