The copy is intact, there is general wear/tear bumping and soiling as expected with age, the spine is cracked yet pages are bound. There is foxing as shown in photos. Features gold gilt front cover lettering and decoration. A complete reference library of its time, it gives a wonderful insight into the Victorian rural life with departments on Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock raising, poultry keeping, bee keeping, Dairy farming, Fertilizers, Rural Architecture, Farm Implements, Household Management, Domestic Affairs, Cookery, Ladies Fancy work, Floriculture, Medical Matters, etc. etc. as per the description.
