Description: Offered for sale is scarce hard shell holster for P38 German WW2 pistol Made in Radom - occupied Poland in 1944 by Kromolowski & Sohne German army inspected with WaA/77 - same as VIS pistols Factory Code - Lyo This company was making very small amounts of holsters through 1944Mostly for P38 and Browning Hi Power - but super limited amounts. Main feature is brown color leather that was used - quite unique for Hard shell P38 holsters.Leather that was used was also very low quality and durability - this is why usually this LYO holsters show significant wear or simply fall apart. Example offered for sale remains in 100% original shape, never altered , repaired or shoe polished ! Shows some expected wear, but considering its low quality leather - i can tell that this one is in great condition ! All stitching original, and holds well.Holster do not have any problems - very nice example ! 1944 Dated hard shell holsters are super hard to find, since production changed to soft shell - cheaper variant in 1944, and only few makers kept making limited amounts through the year. This holster is a keeper for sure - honest never altered example that holds very well. Please use picks as best description.
