In promoting the pending set release, scheduled for “fall 2001”, it not only dated itself and demonstrated the earliness of its issuance in 2001, it also became the ONLY known Pujols rookie card to specifically refer to (in the FUTURE, no less) a particularly significant point in American History. The fall 2001 release it promoted would begin in the fall when fall always begins: in September. This particular September, 2001, would see a terrible and early fall in New York that would be felt around the world and continue for many years to come.
