Description: Presenting an E. F. Caldwell bronze table lamp. This beautiful lamp with cherub form figure stands approx 28” high and weighs just under 10 lbs. The finely detailed pierced oval base measuring 9” x7” is detailed with intertwined figures and faces. The Caldwell signature socket cluster has 3 working acorn pull chains. The lamp is painted black. There are a few small areas of red undercoat and bronze peaking through. In research I found a few single and one pair for comparison. They all appear with this finish. None are signed Caldwell. It was sold to me as Caldwell and also reportedly listed in the Smithsonian catalog. The only damage found was a small dent in one of the sockets.
