By diverting some light from the screen so you didn't wash out the flickering B&W picture.TV cabinet tops were an ideal spot for TV lamps. This vintage TV lamp features a stunning mid-century modern ceramic stallion. Measures approx. 12" tall x 11" long. Faintly marked behind bulb "Lane & Co. Van Nuys, Calif (c) 1958." Excellent pre-owned condition for 25+ years with no cracks, chips, crazing, or other signs of age at all. Fully tested, lamp works, bulb not included. I recommend a 40-watt, aquarium style bulb.
