Rare Light Blue Green William Russell Baltimore Pontiled Squat Soda Bottle

Description: Rare Light Blue Green William Russell Baltimore Pontiled Squat Soda Bottle Rare light blue green iron pontiled soda bottle. Embossed on the front Wm. RUSSELL. Has an iron pontiled base with no remaining iron. Applied rounded tapered lip. Circa 1850-1855. This is a tough bottle to find in darker shades of green and I've only seen 3 of these light blue green examples in over 20 years of collecting early Baltimore soda bottles. Condition is dug with overall staining, wear and has chipping that has been partially polished out to the entire top edge of the lip and there is a large pot stone in the reverse with a few small cooling lines running through it. Measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide x 7 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. GXKX
