This buy it now auction is for a rare and unusual small carved wooden figural group with Kokhloma painted detail. It depicts a quirky girl and boy 6the latter with a thimble like head.They are standing at a table on which they are using spoons and pans painted in the traditional colours of gold,red and black. There is a sticker to the base which although in Cyrillic appears to show a date of 1983 making them Soviet. Condition is very good with no damage.. Measurements are: Height at highest point 9.1cm (3 1/2,inches) Width across 6.5cm (2 1/2 inches)
