Most of these are in primo condition and some are actually NOS. There are even some seldom-seen ones to be offered. But make no mistake, once the sale is over it's O V E R and some of these may even go back into hiding. This is a desirable case that once held my 1975 Mapleglo Rick 4001. It's in great shape overall with very nice leather ends and solid tolex with just a few minor scuffs and chips. The plastic handle, (3) latches and (4) hinges are all in fine shape with the metal parts exhibiting a nice age patina. One of the side feet is missing but all (4) metal edge glides are in great shape so the case stands on-edge without tipping over. The blue lining was only used until the mid-70's so this case is a bit harder to find if you really need a period-correct one. The plush interior is clean as well as the accessory compartment, There is a bit of tolex lifting under the compartment lid but it is still intact and adheres to the wood underneath. Your vintage Rick 4001 is worth thousands and is surely worthy of a case like this one! NO returns!
