Description: This is the January 26, 1989 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, with the late Roy Orbison on the cover. This is Issue 544 of Rolling Stone. Inside are a few blasts from the past, including tributes from multiple artists talking about Roy, plus articles on cover tunes on the radio, music from Chuck Berry and Guns N' Roses and much more. Overall condition is very good for it's age. I had a subscription at the time so it does have a mailing label. Label has not been altered, I just covered it for this ad. Spine is straight, square with essentially no staple pulling and there are no tears on the covers or the pages. Extremely light scuffing from shelf wear. Mine since new, and basically I read this issue and then put it on a shelf, where it sat for 35 years. Ready to move on from my collection and be a part of yours!
