Description: Very rare Rosenthal duck figurine signed by German artist/sculptor Karl Himmelstoss. The bottom has the rare Rosenthal mark that says “Rosenthal Kunst Ableilung” with a shield mark that has the dates 1914 and 1918. It is in excellent condition… the tip of the beak has a dark mark on it, and around the eyes the texture feels a little rough rather than smooth like the rest of the duck. It is signed along the bottom edge of the figurine with “K. Himmelstoss”. Measurements: 4 1/2” long by 1 1/2” wide by 2 1/2” tall
