Description: This is a complete, unassembled ship model kit of the SAMPAN Chinese Boat, No. R-405 in the Constructo miniatures collection. Box shows some tape residue and minor scuffing, but kit is in Very Good vintage condition. These kits were made in Spain and sold in the US through a New York distributor. It is almost entirely composed of precise, pre-cut wooden pieces, with a few cloth sails and metal rigging bits. The original owner appears to have begun the first 2 construction steps by adhering the keel to the front and underside of the vessel (these pieces are untied from the cardboard packaging). Kit also includes a full ship diagram and assembly instructions, as well as a tube of model putty adhesive (no doubt expired). All assembly pieces are accounted for. This particular model is long discontinued and very difficult to find, especially in this condition. I always package items with care and ship them quickly.
