The painting, is behind glass. There is not normally glass on oil paintings. The painting is firmly pressed against the glass, too much so. So I would recommend, never removing the glass because its likely some of the paint is now affixed to it. Other paintings by this artist have sold online. While the style and signature are similar to an artist with the same first initial and last name, it looks like he signs his paintings similar but I looked through a lot of signatures and the letter A was always lowercase. So I don't know anything about this artist, "W. Duncan" other than what I have stated. Painting is 7x5in and the frame is 12x10in. PRICE too HIGH? Watch/Follow the listing.
