Description: This used 50 Spanish peseta note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Spain. It is a purple, brown, green, red, and orange note that is dated 25 April 1931, bear the signatures of Julio Carabias Salcedo, Adolfo CastaƱo Orejon, and Bonifacio Burgos Delgado, and measures 131 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side features Eduardo Rosales. Its reverse side shows the painting “Death of Lucretia” by Eduardo Rosales. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of a woman in profile. The note was also withdrawn in 1939.
