Description: This is an upper barrel band for a Springfield trapdoor 45/70 Cadet rifle. With the exception of the 1890 model, the cadet rifles had no provision for a sling. They only had stacking swivels. This one is in very nice condition with a small "U". Mostly a plum patina finish. May have tiny scratches or spots. Many cadet rifles offered for sale have the incorrect bands and trigger guards. Make your cadet correct.
