Plain type blade extends along the entire length of the blade allowing for powerful cuts with the heel of the blade. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel that holds sharpness well. Careful placement of the enlarged 14mm round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) on the blade positions the hand in the right place for intuitive opening of the blade, while also increasing the hump for spine jimping thumb support.
