Tannoy LGM Little Gold Monitor 12" Dual Concentric Speaker Pair

Description: For sale is a pair of Tannoy LGMs restored and ready to use. These were in rough shape with many imperfections in the cabinets that I have repaired (details below). In addition, I have also rebuilt the crossovers, replacing all resistors and capacitors with higher quality parts of the same values. Restoration steps:-Removed all loose and out of place cabinet material to create a surface for the epoxy to bond to. -Mixed wood epoxy and added pigment to match color of cabinets.-Filled all holes along with major nicks and gouges around the cabinets, then smoothed the surface of the epoxy flush to the cabinet. -Allowed epoxy to dry and sanded the cabinets smooth, added more epoxy where necessary.-Oiled cabinets, made color touch-ups where necessary. The end result is not perfection and you can see where repairs were made if you look closely in direct light, but surfaces are smooth and the repairs are durable. A set of terminals on the rear of a cabinet was replaced and as you'll see it fits, but is not original in appearance. Terms (Please read these) I will do my best to represent all major cosmetic damage to any items that I sell, but when you purchase something from me, expect minor scratches and nicks unless I've noted that the item is free of them. I pack items correctly. I know what it takes to get an item to you safely. As a result, you may see that the shipping quote shown is higher than you're accustomed to. Rest assured, I lose money on just about every item I ship when packing materials are considered, but if I don't, I will absolutely refund you the difference. You will NOT have to ask for it. I will do my best to get items out within a few days, however there are instances where that is not possible especially around holidays. The policies here are difficult in this regard because these vintage items in particular need to be moved and packed carefully. I do not want to damage anything by rushing. Buying the proper materials may also take time. I am not as fast as Amazon, but I guarantee I'll pack better.
