Description: This cute Mexican is taking a siesta and is marked Made In Japan mark #1 on the bottom. This mark was used from 1921 to 1941. His sombrero is the lid. The bright orange, blue, green and yellow colors have a shiny glazed finish. Measures 5" in height x 7" from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle x 4" in depth. There are no chips, dings, crazing or cracks. There are a couple of areas on the inside that look like surface cracks, but they are not. They are smooth to the touch, and I think they were made in the pour when it was being made. This would be a nice, colorful addition to your teapot collection. Thank you for looking at my item.
