It is signed by one of the collection’s previous owners, Walter Geer on the front free end paper and dated 1920. Walter Geer (1857-1937), was himself an author who wrote history books and specifically about Napoleon III. The spines are in very good condition with very minor chipping. The covers and edges have some soiling, but otherwise, these books are in excellent condition for their age and come from a smoke free home.
