Description: The Little King Wooden Mechanical Toy~Jaymar~1939~Original Box! Rare Little King Wooden Mechanical Toy in original box. Made in U.S.A. by Jaymar, in New York City. Circa 1939. Comes with original Seasons Greetings tag with “Prize for the jumbled word contest. 1941” and a name that is illegible. Toy is based off of Otto Soglow's cartoon character. Pulling the string in the kings crown propels the toy forward until the string has unwound around the spool hidden in the bottom of the toy. Good condition. The rubber band that connects the spool to the toy has disintegrated over the years. Easy to replace. Box is in fair/poor condition because of the top flap, which was torn off.
