Description: Available this time is a sealed copy of Genius Of Love 2001 Remixes by Tom Tom Club on vinyl. This is a limited edition album created for RSD 2024. Originally released in 1981, “Genius of Love” is the Tom Tom Club’s timeless classic track that’s been sampled by such artists as Mariah Carey, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, 2 Pac, Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Ice Cube and most recently, Latto. The song was written and performed by Talking Heads founders Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth. These 9 remixes were originally released as a bonus disc on their “Genius of Live” CD and were never available on vinyl. Features creative and inventive mixes from Money Mark, Mexican Institute of Sound, Señor Coconut and other leading names of the Latin electronica world. The limited-edition RSD exclusive LP will be pressed on blue marble vinyl. Only 1500 are available. An excellent addition to any Tom Tom Club collection. Grading is by visual inspection only. I never rate anything as mint, that is just the way I look at things as there might be a slight imperfection I cannot see. Near mint is the highest I grade. I do my best to package everything as best I can. Unfortunately small things may happen in shipping like minor bumps to the sleeve or seam splits. Inner sleeve seam splits are not considered defective unfortunately. That is not covered by any insurance through the shipping company. If you would like the record taken out of the sleeve, please let me know and I will ship it that way for you. If on the rare time the item arrives broken, that is covered. Please send pictures if that has happened. Item is located in Canada. Please be aware of your country's import customs fees. Unfortunately, I cannot put down any price on the customs forms except the sold price. I am not responsible for any customs fees, if any are charged.
