Description: Set of Two (2) Woods & Sons England WINCANTON Blue & Rust Bread & Butter Plates 6”: diameter. A Transferware pattern that has been overpainted by hand with deep blue, rusty orange, sage green, and pale blue accents. Registered between 1909 and 1910. These plates were probably manufactured about 1920. Don’t expect perfection in 100-year-old plates, but, I do not see any cracks, chips or crazing. I do see a couple of flea bites and some utensil marks.
