Description: Nice, captivating art! Not dirty, just a ceramic ashtray with abstract swirls of reddish purples embedded in the ceramic. No markings so could be a handmade souvenir of long ago. Also, the images are embossed. So there was some artistic effort and not just something mass produced. Unsure what Native American tribe this represent (or if does at all) and unsure of when created. Pretty sure related to one of the southwestern tribes. Could possibly be of Northern Mexican origin too. Does have crazing (cracks on the glazing) - which is common for the ceramic's glaze when made in dry environments transported into humid environments. These are not cracks in the ceramic, just the glazing. Otherwise, this is crack and chip free.
