Description: USED AKAIMK 20J Music Studio Tapes used on awesome and fun MG1212 and MG1214 Multi-Track Recorders. Condition is used; Analog 'warm' accurate sounding tapes. I had to move and let go of both recorders and do miss them. I kept the tapes for awhile in case there was interest in a re-mix of our production CDs, but that was a few years back. Now in the digital world, I tried to reproduce the 'smooth' analog sound with plug-ins and even outboard gear, but can't quite 'get there' to match the 'analog' sound. OK, enough sound quality (albeit subjective) lamenting, but these were favorite machines. Enjoy the tapes! Recording capacity = 10 mins at 19cm/s (7.48"/sec) or 20 mins at 9.5 cm/sec (3.74"/sec) Buy 1 or more!
