I may feel a faint water stain on the back cover is minor where someone else feels it’s more of a major defect. What I may think is a 6.0 or 6.5 someone else may think it’s a 5.0 or 5.5. I try to note what I feel are the most notable of defects and give honest grade ranges. I’m not trying to hide anything, I just may think something is not as major as someone else. Please do not purchase if you disagree or like to debate grade ranges. Purchase professionally graded comics then. I see the poorly graded comics listed out there. This is the ultimate intimate look into comic book creator Mike Allred’s scrapbook, sketchbooks, and secret files! Allred provides commentary throughout this visual bonanza revealing all the big breaks, influences, inspirations, turning points, friendships, collaborations, toys, merchandise, breakthroughs, setbacks and successes, all to show how a career is made and sustained. In my estimation the books range in “NICE” (7.0) FINE/VERY FINE to (8.0) VERY FINE condition with white pages. Very moderate wear to covers, spines, corners & edges. Very tight, sharp, bright & glossy looking copies. There are no other glaring flaws to note, that is not typical to books falling under the indicated grade ranges or visible in pictures. I am not a professional grader but grade very conservatively using The Overstreet Price Guide as reference and my 40+ years of comic book collecting/selling experience.
