Description: Beautiful and neat, vintage 1940s Taxco Mexico sterling silver necklace. It’s stamped/hallmarked, Taxco Mexico on the back middle of the pendant. It’s also stamped 925 below the hallmark. The vibrant, cobalt blue glass details complement the silver design. When spread out the necklace measures 18” inches long. When the necklace is shut the side links measure 8” inches long. The pendant measures 2” 7/8 long by 2” 1/2 wide. The necklace is in used condition with some flaws. There’s some rusting/damage on some of the links. Also, please note, there’s some dark possibly repair/possibly artist made soldering on the back of the front chain/links. Also, there’s a bit of green oxidation near some of the blue glass. Mainly on the right top. There’s a bit of darkness under the blue stone, possibly from age. Please note, there’s some minor scratching in the back of the main pendant, and on the back sides as well. A lovely and unique addition to your vintage Mexican silver jewelry collection. Selling as is/as found. Offering free shipping. Thanks for your interest!
