Description: This is an I ncreaingly scarce collector’s item: one white short-sleeved nurse’s uniform, belt and cap for Cosmopolitan Ginger doll, 8” inches tall. The dress’s inside seam has a tag that reads: “Fashion for 'Ginger', Cosmopolitan Doll & Toy Corp., Jackson Heights, N. Y., Trade Mark." Dress has two white enameled metal snap fasteners in back for closure. White detachable belt in same fabric has one snap fastener. Matching white cotton nurse’s cap has a black stripe across the front. Condition: Good vintage used condition; dress fabric shows yellowing, grime and dust from age and storage and has a few pen-point size flecks / stains at the hem, and waist and inside, some frayed or flyaway threads to be trimmed by Buyer (see photos). These items have not been laundered, both are free of holes and tears. There may be some mild mustiness but no foul odors. The snap fasteners are intact with no rust. The uniform dress has a slightly frayed brand tag. The hat was meant to pin to the doll’s head, there is no elastic. The belt is free of any discernible flaws.
