Description: This VINTAGE 1983 BILL VEGA "You Turned My Whiskey Into Milk" LP. A pretty mysterious record from Southern California...Recorded at the Bo-Mac Records studios in Monrovia, California, this was a country set featuring all-original material credited to pianist-singer Bill Vega, whose biography remains a bit elusive. The musicians were Bill Vega (piano and vocals), John Espinoza (lead and rhythm guitar), Michael Gregory (lead and rhythm guitar), Mark Webster (drums) with vocal backing that included a fella named Cleophus (Cleo) Price. I believe this album was a "PROMO" issue since there is no UPC printed on the front or back cover. This is a factory sealed LP album from 1983 by Gringo Records. The Engineers are Cleo Price and Harold Bowen Jr. Assistants are Gene McManus, Harold Bowen and Bill Vega. The LP was recorded at Bo-Mac Recording Studio in California. Mastered at Capital by Wally Traugott. Metal Processing by Sheffield Lab Matrix and Manufactured by Bill Smith Custom.This 1st Edition 12 inch 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record is unopened in original shrink-wrap, Gringo Records, bearing no external catalog number. This very rare LP is over 40 years old and looks as good as it did in 1983 when it was first issued. The LP will be mailed in a custom white LP Mailer with inner cardboard protection. In otherwards it will be double-protected from damage during shipment. P.S. The white mark you see in the first photo in the upper right is not any kind of damage to the outer cover.
